Product Compatibility & Installation

  • How do I install the Attachment System?

    The FFORA Attachment System is a clamp and open dock that attaches to lower tubes of most manual wheelchairs. It's the building block to the full FFORA product range.

    Inside the your box, you should have the following items:

    - FFORA Attachment System

    - FFORA Keyring

    - A pair of silicone inserts

    To install the product you should do the following:

    1. Use the FFORA Keyring to unscrew the screw to open the clamp.

    2. Once the clamp is open, place the pair of silicone inserts so that they line the interior of the clamp; this protects your chair from scratches, but also holds the clamp in place.

    3. Set the clamp around the tube in its desired orientation ensuring the silicone inserts are between the clamp and tube.

    4. Place the dock into it's desired angle and orientation. It swivels on a 360 degree axis.

    5. Firmly tighten the screw using the FFORA keyring. 

    Ta-Dah! You're done! 

    Please note: The product was designed to be as snug and secure as possible so installation could take a few minutes. If installing by yourself, it's advised to transition to the couch, floor or bed so you have better access and visibility. Getting the angle right may take some trial and error and you may require assistance for this portion. It may also may take some time to line up the holes and screw, but this is perfectly normal. Ensure that the dock positioned vertically so that it can appropriately hold your belongings.

  • How do I determine the compatibility of the product with my chair/equipment?

    There are two ways of determining product compatibility, through our built-in compatibility checker or by measuring manually. We recommend using the FFORA compatibility checker for fastest compatibility verification. 

    Option 1: FFORA Compatibility Checker:
    Find out the brand and model of your wheelchair to purchase products. 

    1. Click here to view our wheelchair compatibility checker.

    2. From the drop-down menu, select your brand name of your wheelchair and then your wheelchair model.

    3. After you have selected your wheelchair's information, you'll see a message confirming if the FFORA Attachment System will work with your wheelchair. Success! You can now purchase product!

    Option 2: Manually Measuring:

    1. Visit the Shop All page and click on an Attachment System, then click on "Manually Select Size". This will display instructions to manually measure your chair's tubing.

    2. Follow the instructions in the diagram to measure your chair's tube in inches. 

    Important Note: We recommend a relatively straight section of the tube, and the tube must be perfectly circular, not oval or oblong in shape or the Attachment System will not fit.

    3. From the drop-down menu, select the size that is the closest to your wheelchair's measurement in inches.

  • I don't see my wheelchair model. What shall I do?

    We may not have designed for your model yet, or we simply may not know it exists! Please feel free to contact support@liveffora.com and provide the Brand Name and model number of your device.

    We will likely be able to offer a solution and/or include courtesy additional silicone sizing options in your order.

  • Will the FFORA Attachment work with my motorized/electric wheelchair?

    Unfortunately, due to the vast amount of wheelchair brands and a variety of configurations available on the market, we have not yet developed our products to fit a range of motorized/electric wheelchairs yet. If you can noticeably see any circular tubing on your device in a desirable position, our products may work. We can help advise on a case-by-case basis, but until then it will take a lot more time and research & development to get there. However, we are certainly interested in doing so and would love to notify you as soon as the product becomes available, please sign up to our mailing list to receive notifications.

  • Will the FFORA Attachment work with my Mobility Scooter?

    Unfortunately, due to the vast amount of scooter brands and a variety of configurations available on the market, we have not yet gathered all the information to ensure that our products fit a range of scooters. If you can noticeably see any circular tubing on your device in a desirable position to mount our products, our products may work. We can help advise on a case-by-case basis, but until then it will take a lot more time and research & development to get there. However, we are certainly interested in doing so and would love to notify you as soon as the product becomes available, please sign up to our mailing list to receive notifications.

  • Can I use my FFORA Attachment on other chair models?

    Our FFORA Attachment is shipped with a pair of silicone inserts that have been specifically tailored to your chair’s size that you selected in the wheelchair dropdown menu, or manually measured yourself. The pair of silicone inserts ensure that the Attachment securely holds in place without damaging your wheelchair tubing, and also creates the accurate fit. Because of the vast variety of wheelchairs on the market with differentiating tube sizes and configurations, we currently do not offer multiple silicone inserts other than the selected chair at checkout.

    However, if you have any questions about acquiring extra or specific sizes with your order, or perhaps you wish to check compatibility for another device, please contact support@liveffora.com andwe will do our best to help out.

  • Can I use the FFORA Attachment on a push scooter/e-scooter/bicycle?

    Our products were specifically designed for the varying tube measurements present in the wheelchair market.

    We do not recommend our products for mounting biking; however they can work on e-scooters, push-scooters and handle bars/frames. Before you purchase our FFORA Attachment, ensure fit compatibility by manually measuring the circumference of the tube with a measuring tape in inches, where you wish to position FFORA products.

    Manually Measuring:

    1. Visit the Shop All page and click on an Attachment System, then click on "Manually Select Size". This will display instructions to manually measure your chair's tubing.

Shipping & Returns

  • What is your exchange and returns policy?

    Quality is one of our highest priorities at FFORA and it is our goal to ensure every individual enjoys their experience with our store.

    We offer a full refund or exchange within 30 days of receiving the product, unused and with original packaging. Refunds or exchanges requests can be processed by emailing support@liveffora.com and by including the order number with the request. If within 30 days we offer a pre-paid shipping label to return the products. Once received we inspect the products to ensure they are eligible for refund.

    Refunds can take 7-10 business days after receiving the product.

  • Do you ship internationally?

    Currently we only ship within the United States and the United Kingdom. We are interested in setting up shipment to other regions, however being a small company, it comes with a few challenges that can result in the shipping duties and expenses being passed on to customer, or ourselves, which is not nice for both!

    As our company grows, we hope to be able to share FFORA products with other nations.

  • How long do products take to ship?

    It typically takes 1-3 business days to fulfill orders. After fulfilment, the order is be handed to the selected carrier.

    We offer the following services: USPS Parcel Select, UPS Ground, UPS 3 Day Select. Orders over $100+ include free shipping, only in the United States and United Kingdom.

    The length of the shipping time may vary based on your location. However, if you still have not received your order after 2 weeks, email us at support@liveffora.com andbe sure to include your order number and we'd be happy to look into it!

Maintenance & Repair

  • Cleaning & Product Care

    Keep the Attachment System clean in order to avoid scratches and jamming. If the system is noticeably shaking, or visibly moving around the tube in everyday use, check and tighten the screw if required, using the FFORA keyring. We advise to always carry either the FFORA keyring or equivalent standard m8 Allen key with you (in general it comes in handy for other wheelchair screws if needed!).

    Every 3 months or when required, re-install the Attachment System to clean the silicone which could attract some dust or debris build up over time. 

    To remove dirt or fingerprints, we recommend a very small amount of isopropyl alcohol and a Q-Tip or soft paper towel to gently polish the metal.

  • How do I get replacement parts for my FFORA products?

    In certain instances, we can often offer replacement parts, such as the Attachment clamp or extra silicone inserts.

    You can make a requests by emailing support@liveffora.com. We review requests on a case-by-case basis, so be sure to include pictures, order numbers and descriptions so we can best assist!

  • Do you have Warranty?

    FFORA is proud of the quality, design, and performance of all our products. Items covered under our 90 Day Limited Warranty will be replaced or repaired at the discretion of FFORA. Product damaged through wear and tear, misuse, or neglect may be repaired or replaced at a reasonable price and is reviewed on a case by case basis.

    All of our products are splash and weather resistant. As long as you’re not swimming with FFORA products you’re fine!

  • How do I use the FFORA Products?

    FFORA products are wheelchair attachable accessories that are designed for use with the FFORA Attachment System. The FFORA Attachment System has a magnetic dock that can be affixed to the lower tubes of most manual wheelchairs. All FFORA products are readily installed with a magnetic pebble-shaped counterpart that effortlessly slides into this dock. With one swift hand gesture this provides access to the FFORA products.
